Tony Polus Sr. has been playing golf for most of his life. He started teaching golf in 1980 and continues to this day. Thanks to his excellent teaching skills, all three of Tony’s children received full ride golf scholarships to college. When Tony turned 50, he gave it a shot on the Champions Tour and qualified and played in the US Open in 1999. Shortly after the US Open, Tony underwent shoulder surgery to fix a long standing issue. Unfortunately, a subsequent accident forced Tony to retire from the professional level of golf. However, he still plays today. Tony Sr. is a longtime musician, band leader, and a Vietnam veteran.
